There goes nature again trying to inter fear with the drug companies business. Thankfully it does, and it comes in the form of a spice called Turmeric. If you had to choose only one herb to have on your shelf, make it turmeric. The spice that licks cancer.
Turmeric comes from the root of the Curcuma longa plant, which is native to Indonesia and southern India, and is widely used as an ingredient in curry dishes and yellow mustard. As research into this powerful spice has increased, it has emerged as one of nature's most powerful potential healers useful against inflammation and cancer.
Turmeric has been used for 5,000 years as part of the Eastern cultural traditions, including traditional Chinese medicine and Ayurveda. It strengthens and improves digestion, purifies blood tissue, aids in liver function and detox. Turmeric contains curcuminoids that fights cancer, arthritis, and alzheimer's.
Most notably turmeric is known for its potent anti-inflammatory properties, which come from curcumin -- the pigment that gives turmeric its yellow-orange color, and which is thought to be responsible for many of its medicinal effects. There are an estimated three to five grams of curcumin in 100 grams of turmeric. Curcumin acts as an agent that inhibits the mutation of good cells into cancer cells.
This comes in a powder form purest from India, and is extremely beneficial long term. This spice can also be used for pets where cancer has disappeared with usage.
Lets not forget that man has created some alternative solutions in the fight of cancer, but they just promote the profitable ones. There is a drug developed years ago that has recently been found beneficial for cancer and other immune disorders. As you guess, the drug companies use there mighty dollars to promote the big buck drugs, and this useful alternative gets swept under the rug.
